About Us

Introduction

Whether you are just starting out or have a business already established, this website contains information that can assist you.

Having your own small business can be the fulfillment of a lifetime dream, but it can also be confusing, intimidating, and frustrating. There are so many things to think about - regulations, financing, taxes, permits, and much more. We hope this website will provide you with the knowledge and confidence needed to move through this maze to accomplish your goals.

Operating a business requires taking a risk. Not all small business ventures succeed, but there are things you can do to minimize your risk. Again, this website can help you.

Two major areas will make critical difference to your success. One is planning. You need to carefully plan your start-up, expansion, or on-going operation, including costs, projected profit and loss, cash flow, and timelines. Know what you have to do and where you are going with your business. Secondly, you need to know how to get help. There is no need to be an expert in every aspect of small business operations, but you must know how to find answers from the experts when you need them.

This website will help you accomplish these two tasks - good planning and how to find assistance. We can't provide all the answers here since each business has different needs and requirements. We can, however, help you find the organizations, agencies, books, and other resources that can give you guidance and through our one-on-one counseling provide individualized answers to your specific questions.

Our goal is to help you make your business as successful as it can be. Good luck in your exciting endeavor!
