Lorinda Forrest , through Launch Point Consulting, specializes in providing business start-up consulting and business success coaching. She works with Tuolumne and Mariposa County businesses to develop business and marketing plans, social media and email marketing campaigns as well as website development.   Her skill set and experience has been utilized in writing business and marketing plans, business start-up assessment, organizational and strategic planning, project management, human resources consulting, and lease negotiation. Her clients are business owners and persons looking to start, purchase, transition or sell a business.

Lorinda has owned or co-owned four start-ups in Southern California and worked with a variety of others ranging from one person operations to venture-funded Silicon Valley start-ups. She has experience in many industries including tourism, health care, investment, retail, service-oriented businesses and restaurants. Lorinda's work centers primarily on business start-ups and helping businesses grow to the "next level". She is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and has established human resource departments, written policy & procedures manuals, employee handbooks and established benefits programs. For three years, Lorinda taught a semester-long class called, “Owning Your Own Business” in Southern California.

Lorinda is passionate about small business and its value within the local community. She enjoys the personal interaction with clients, sharing and helping realize a vision for success as well as introducing collaborative partnerships that provide successful relationships for all.
