Helping companies stay in business What is the Employer Assistance Program?The Employer Assistance Program (EAP) is a no-cost and confidential government-funded program designed to assist Stanislaus County employers with 5 or more employees who are at risk of closing or reducing their workforce. EAP’s goal is to help stabilize as many businesses as possible and prevent layoffs. Who is eligible?If you feel you may have to consider layoffs – or even close your company – due to the today’s economy, we urge you to contact us. No qualified Stanislaus County employer will be denied access to this program as long as funding for resources is available. How does it work?Our expert team of independent consultants will work hand-in-hand with you and your company at no cost, assisting you in every area of your business. We will meet with you at your office to discuss and assess your situation, and determine how EAP may be able to help you.
